Small Business Workshop
Friday, November 21st 8:30 - Noon Kansas Food Bank, 1919 E Douglas
$50 for Members $65 for Non-Members
Must RSVP by Thursday November 20th at Noon.
Join us for a small business marketing workshop. The workshop will focus on an interactive learning experience to assisst in more efficiently and effectively marketing your business. You'll complete a variety of tasks designed to help you move forward with a marketing strategy. Information gained fromt his investment of time will be immediately applicable. You are encouraged to bring marketing materials you are currently utilizing to the workshop.
Dr. Wendy Munday will discuss among other topics:
- Targeting
- Creating, Maintaining and Harvesting your Database
- SWOT Analysis
- Branding
- Positioning
- Tracking
- Promotion
- Determining your Value Proposition
Dr. Wendy Munday, Ed.D. earned her baccaluareate and M.B.A. degrees from Wichita State University and her doctorate from Oklahoma State University. At WSU she received the Dale Wiggins Award as the Outstanding Graduate Student and at OSU she was elected to Phi Kappa Phi. Prior to moving to her current career in higher education, Munday worked in marketing and management in the financial services industry with Bank IV and INTRUST Bank. She maintains an active consulting practice as owner of Management & Marketing Innovations where she works with clients from a variety of industries. Munday's professional activities include working as a Junior Achievement volunteer, being a founding Vice President of the Wichita Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, and serving as the Chair for the Faculty Professional Development Committee. She has been an AMA member for many years and attends the annual AMA Educator's Conference. She is a guest speaker at the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce meeting which drew the largest attendance to date.
